Yoga

Yoga has been apart of my life since my first class at age 13 and in the last 6 years that passion has continued to grow, it has truly changed my life! Big claim I know, but it's true.

In June 2017 I began a 2 year in depth yoga philosophy and teacher training course. I've already had the great opportunity to take some breathing, meditation and mindfulness classes and the response has been overwhelming.

In our hectic lives that seem to becoming more stressful all the time the importance of self care is growing and yoga is a fantastic way to do this.

You don't have to be a gymnast to do yoga it's all about your own limits and becoming aware of your own body and breath.

As of June 2018 I became a qualified student teacher and look forward to moving this part of my vocation forward as well as incorporating techniques in to treatments to give you a massage with continued results.

June 2018...

....Woohoo I've passed and Im now a qualified student yoga teacher. I have already began teaching at The Malvern Spa on Thursday evenings and it feels great, unfortunately the class is only open to members and guests of the spa but I hope to begin a beginners class open to all very soon. In the meantime I am doing one to ones in the comfort of your own home so if you think you'd like to embark on a yoga journey together and improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing then give me a call. November 2018...

...For the last 5 months I've been teaching a wonderful class at The Malvern Spa on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings. The feedback has been incredible, men, women, old and young alike have found the class so helpful on so many levels. It has been aimed at stress, insomnia, mental health and just general nurturing and relaxation. But unfortunately that time has come to an end and I am so sad to leave those wonderful people but such is endings and I need to say a huge thanks to everyone who came, once, twice or every week you started me on this journey....

February 2019...

Since January this year I have been teaching introduction and beginners yoga classes at the Malvern Cube, the classes are aimed at anyone who has either never done yoga, "can't" do yoga or would like to revisit the foundations of the practice. We cover all aspects of yoga in our hour class including chanting, breathing techniques, relaxation, meditation and physical postures.

Classes are held on a Monday 8-9pm and Wednesday 9am-10am and cost £7 per class.

Monday:

6.15pm-7.15pm Beginners Yoga @ Malvern Cube

8pm-9pm Accessible Yoga @ Malvern Cube

Wednesday:

9-10am Over 50's Yoga @ Malvern Cube

Thursday:

7.15pm-8.15pm Accessible Yoga @ Malvern College

Beginners classes are for those who are totally new to yoga or would like to revisit and remind them selves of the foundations of yoga.

Accessible yoga is for anyone and everyone regardless of age or stage. Options are given for each posture.

Over 50s yoga is a gentle stretch with sometimes challenging postures. To keep you moving and feeling good.

Unfortunately due to the global coronavirus outbreak Just breathe is now closed....but I am still contactable behind the scenes. So please do not hesitate to contact me if you have a question regarding your home yoga practice, skincare, maybe you wish to place a Neal's Yard remedies order or for anything else Im still here, if not in body but in voice. LIVE ONLINE CLASSES VIA ZOOM

This is a whole new territory for many of us but i'm excited! Nervous but excited! I never contemplated taking my classes online previous to our current international epidemic, as I am a very tactile person who enjoys the physical company of others. But as we are all in need of connection right now as well as keeping our bodies moving and healthy it is with my pleasure I invite you to my online zoom classes every Monday.

Return from maternity December 2023

I am currently teaching via zoom, small classes of up to 3 and 1:1 yoga sessions from my newly built "Just Breathe Garden Room" at my home in Malvern. I look forward to seeing you in a larger class setting from January 2024.
